Residents of Elios-Pronnoi, Poros and Skala in particular, are increasingly concerned about the lack of healthcare in the area, exacerbated by the involuntary transfer of two doctors from Sami Medical Centre. They refer to the number of summer visitors to the area and are calling for:
1. The qualified General Practitioner, resident of Poros, return to her organic position at the Skala Regional Clinic to cover and serve the area; Also to return to her duties, at the Sami Health Center, exactly as she was before the relevant decision of the 6th Health Department Commander;
2. To fill the vacancies in the Multipurpose Regional Clinic of Skala as well as in the Regional Clinics of Poros and Hionata;
3. That the creation and operation of the Multipurpose Regional Clinic of Skala be made a top priority for the region and that all the competent authorities proceed, exactly as provided by the legislation;
4. To staff all the primary and secondary health structures of our prefecture with the necessary medical personnel.
