Ainos National Park closed until midday, Tuesday, 06 August due to perceived fire risk. Officially a medium risk of bush fires on Kef today and maximum temperature in low thirties.

Given that trains are as rare as hens' teeth in this area of Greece (I haven't seen one in about two years and I drive past the line four times a week), it is astonishing that this can even happen.  Or maybe people nowadays just expect there not to be a train coming?   :oki: :oki: :oki:
