Flu fatalities reach 17 in Greece, measles cases near 2,000

Seventeen people in Greece have lost their lives this winter as a result of the seasonal flu virus, while the measles epidemic has grown to almost 2,000 reported cases, according to the Greek Center for Disease Control and Prevention (KEELPNO).

Interesting article about the history of the English edition of the paper which is partly separate from the Greek edition - certainly more interesting if a bit truncated.  I hadn't understood the connection with the then International Herald Tribune and latterly the New York Times.
