Unconfirmed as yet: the Three-Member Misdemeanour Court of Kefalonia on Wednesday sentenced a Havdata, Palliki, man to twenty five months imprisonment, suspended for three years, and a fine of 10,500 euro for shooting dead a neighbour's six year old dog when it ran free on his land on 15 October, 2016.

Couldn't make out the whole story but there was also mention of an administrative fine of 30,000 euro, not sure if that stands.

Greece removes ancient archaeological sites from it's development list

Greece’s government has removed hundreds of archaeological museums, ancient sites and castles inadvertently put on a provisional list of properties up for private development under the country’s bailout terms.

Among them was the 4,000-year-old palace of Knossos on Crete, Greece’s second-most-popular ancient monument.

The culture ministry said Tuesday that following careful cross-checks, 2,330 properties were taken off the portfolio of state-owned real estate scheduled for development over the next 99 years.

Also on the list that was scheduled for development was the tomb of King Philip II of Macedon, Alexander the Great’s father — in northern Greece. With his assassination, his son Alexander ascended the throne at just 20 years old, earning the title of Great by becoming one of history's best military commanders and empire builders.

Horror: New York set to legalize abortion up to birth!

The womb will become an even less safe place for unborn babies in New York come Tuesday. Democrat legislators are set to legalize abortion up to birth and remove the fatal procedure from the state’s criminal code altogether with the passing of the euphemistically named Reproductive Health Act.

The proposed legislation erases the current limitation on abortion in the state, which is set at 24 weeks. The Reproductive Health Act states, “every individual who becomes pregnant has the fundamental right to choose to carry the pregnancy to term, to give birth to a child, or to have an abortion.”

So long as a licensed practitioner acts in “good faith,” a baby can be murdered in the womb up to birth in order “to protect the patient’s life or health.”

Rare angel shark species found living off coast of Wales

The angel shark, a large flat species which resembles a stingray, is listed as critically endangered and was previously only reliably spotted around the Canary Islands.

But after a six month project led by the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) and Natural Resources Wales, evidence has emerged which suggests the angel shark is living in UK waters.

Google Chrome changes could 'destroy' ad-blockers

Blocking ads could become much harder if Google makes proposed changes to its Chrome web browser, warn developers.

The changes could "destroy" ad-blockers, said one maker of widely-used blocking software.

Others said the update would make it far harder for users to stop firms tracking them online and make it easier for them to be bombarded with ads.
