Ryanair falls into red as it warns no-deal Brexit risk is 'worryingly high'

Ryanair said the risk of a no-deal Brexit was “worryingly high”. It has obtained a UK licence to protect its three domestic routes and will place restrictions on shareholders in the event of a hard Brexit to ensure it remains an EU owned and controlled airline.

No-deal Brexit threatens 700,000 tourism jobs, trade body warns

More than 700,000 jobs in the travel and tourism sector could be lost over a decade in the event of a no-deal Brexit, carving an £18.6 billion hole in Britain’s GDP, a trade body has warned.

Some 308,000 UK-based roles and a further 399,000 in European Union states would be at risk if Britain left without a Withdrawal Agreement, according to the World Travel & Tourism Council.

Being reported that a 35 y-o man has been found guilty at Patras court of fire-starting at Agios Yeorgios, Elios-Pronnoi, in 2014. Sentenced to six years imprisonment and a fine of 15,000 euros.

Greek Ski Center Shuts Down As Snow Tops Eight Meters

The famous Falakro ski resort in Northern Greece’s Drama region was forced to close on Friday due to safety reasons from the recent excessive snowfall, which in some areas has reached 8 meters (24 feet) in height.

The enormous volume of snow currently atop Falakro Mountain poses a clear safety threat to visitors, according to the local authorities.

Local authorities and skiers are living in hope that the famous ski resort will be able to reopen and provide a safe recreational experience in a few days’ time.
