Puppies Found With Severed Heads in Remote Greek Village

THESSALONIKI, Greece — Police in northeastern Greece say they are investigating the killing of seven puppies that were found dumped on the side of a road with their heads cut off.

Residents in the village of Lambro, outside the northeast city of Komotini, reported the incident late last week, and a formal investigation was opened by police on Monday.

Deadline to register income, properties; 34 Q&As regarding 'Airbnb' style leasings released by Greek tax bureau

Property owners and managers in Greece have until Nov. 30, 2018 to register online with the tax bureau if they've leased out lodgings where the last day of departure was Aug. 30, 2018, as a new platform aimed at taxing increasingly booming revenue from "Airbnb-type" activities is now activated.

'News' going around that KTEL, as well as offering flight-style baggage check-ins, will be offering to convey food sent by parents to their college kids, allegedly kept warm in a special heated compartment near the engine. This 'new service', called Τάπερ Εξπρές / Topper Express is, so far as I can find out, a hoax.

Greece earthquake ALERT: TWO earthquakes hit in FOUR minutes - holiday hotspot rattled
THE GREEK island of Crete was hit by two earthquakes in the space of four minutes, just days after a landslide injured seven people on the island of Zakynthos.

Professor of Geology at the University of Athens, Efthimios Lekkas, said the two quakes hit at a depth of 10km.

He said “the earthquake was felt in Messolonghi, Aegio and Zakynthos, where there is a possibility that the beach of Navajo was also affected.”

To be fair, the article which is a complete travesty does nention Navagio later.
