A single person on the average wage of £26,500 would pay £3,180 in income tax and £2,213 in national insurance payments.Facebook Inc, the parent company of the UK operations, reported at the beginning of the year that it had revenues of $12.5 billion in 2014, up 58 per cent from the year before. That translated into profits of $2.94 billion.
