Koutavos ​​Environmental Information Center will be celebrating the European Day of Birds between 09:00-14:00 on Sunday, 02/10/16 when information on the birdlife in the lagoon area will be presented. (Not sure if Greek-language only).

Heard the body of a 77 y-o foreign national (tourist?) was recovered from the sea at Gradakia, Lassi, yesterday evening.

Not sure if that link works - problems with the 'net in the area today... saving Greece probably wasn't uppermost in the thoughts of the exiteers.

Haven't got the full gist of this but *seems* the Fraport deal has resulted in the equivalent of Compulsory Purchase Orders on some 315 stremmata of land near Kef airport. Landowners not too chuffed.

Tavernas, bars, doctors, lawyers... and tradesmen have to go online and issue electronic POS receipts w.e.f. 01/01/17... or that's the plan so far...
