Greece: first "mini heat wave" for this summer imminentThe first "mini heat wave" of this summer season is expected in Greece this week, with the meteorological services warning that temperatures will rise to 39 degrees Celsius by Thursday, as To Vima online reports. The temperature in the northern parts of the mainland will climb to 35-36 degrees on Wednesday and 37 degrees from the rest of the country. Thursday is going to be the warmest day of the week, with temperatures approaching 39 degrees. In Athens the temperature will raise to 37 degrees. The first heat wave since the summer solstice will begin to subside on Friday though, with meteorologists pointing out that strong northerly breezes will help reduce temperatures.
Office in London with broken aircon is nowhere near as lovely.
