The founder of the World Wide Web has revealed his intention to revolutionise the internet by completely upending the data-gathering business models of tech giants like Facebook and Google.
Sir Tim Berners-Lee, who invented the World Wide Web in 1989, described his bold new project as a reaction to the current state of the web.

Reading through the article I think what he actually said was, "critical tipping point". Although, to put it bluntly, it does read as though Sir Tim Berners-Lee thinks the internet is, ahem, well tupped. So he's developing a Facebook alternative. According to a report on the
