Warning: New email scam claiming tax refund

As we are in the tax filing season, scammers are attempting to scam people with emails claiming to be tax refunds, asking for bank details.

The Tax Services (AADE) warned people not to fall victim to these new attempts.

According to the AADE, criminals send e-mails with the false message "AADE has calculated your tax return and you are entitled to a tax refund."

AADE urges people not to open any attached file in the mail, not to click on any proposed hyperlink (link) and delete the fake message immediately.
