A sailing yacht was utterly destroyed and sank into the sea in the early hours of Friday morning after a fire broke out on board, while it was sailing south of the island of Zakynthos. The eight passengers on board managed to safely reach the shore and are in good shape, though they were taken to Zakynthos General Hospital for further tests as a precaution.

Kef police busy at the airport arresting foreign nationals attempting to fly out after presenting forged travel documents, on Tuesday catching a couple and their two children after they attempted to board a flight to Italy and yesterday preventing another couple with two children wishfully bound for the UK.
