UK driving licence fees fall
Cost of provisional licence will fall to £34 from £50, while cost of renewing licence online will drop to £14

The DVLA is carrying out a review of all fees, and other cuts being considered include vehicle first registrations and duplicate registration certificates.

Monarch to focus on Europe as Greybull deal is signed

The airline will focus on five UK airport bases: London Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Luton and Leeds-Bradford, and will close down operations from East Midlands from summer 2015.

We just flew with Monarch MAN to Agadir.  I'm not normally that fussed but I did think they were a bit better than average.  Check-in at MAN very efficient, flights on time and possibly an inch or two more leg-room than other companies.  On the outward flight we got extra leg-room for £10 each as we checked in.
