France strikes: Holidaymakers braced for chaos in face of air traffic controllers' action Holidaymakers are braced for chaos this week as members of France’s two biggest air traffic controller unions stage a six-day strike starting tomorrow.
EasyJet said it expected to be advised to cancel 50% of flights in and out of France during the strike from June 24 to 30.But it added that up to 70 per cent of the 1,400 flights a day it operates across Europe and beyond pass through French airspace and could also be disrupted or delayed.
French air traffic controllers have ended their industrial action four days early.
