Hundreds of civil servants dismissed after checks

A total of 493 civil servants have been dismissed after a probe revealed that they used forged degrees to secure their positions.

According to Alternate Minister of Administrative Reform Christoforos Vernardakis, the results of the investigation – which lasted four years – show that only a negligible number of employees were found to have forged documents.

“Since 2014, this case was given far more attention than it actually merited,” he said, adding that “493 amount to 0.08 percent of workers [in the public sector].”

Googling yourself will soon bring a new surprise

Reading down you find:

Another new feature called "Find Your Phone," helps you locate your treasured device.  It’s similar to Apple’s “Find my iPhone” or Samsung’s “Find my Mobile” but with a focus on protecting the information in your Google account. On Android phones, it will also let you remotely ring your device, remotely set up a special lockscreen so you can easily be contacted, and let you sign out of your device remotely. Signing out of your account should help minimize the access a thief can have to your Google information.
The feature also offers a nuclear option: You can wipe your phone remotely if you’re sure it’s never coming back.
Google have enough data on Android/GMail users to do this off their own bat... by mistake of course!
