Exploding cream dispenser kills French fitness blogger

A well-known lifestyle blogger in France has been killed by an exploding whipped cream dispenser.

In 2013, one victim of an exploding cream dispenser told RTL radio: "I had six broken ribs, and my sternum was broken.

"At the hospital, I was told that if the shock and blast had been facing the heart, I would be dead now."

Greek rubbish strike causes stink

Piles of rubbish have been mounting in cities across Greece since the start of the week in a dispute over thousands of refuse collectors' jobs.

Tourist areas of Athens were among those worst affected. Problems were also reported in the northern city of Thessaloniki and the island of Corfu.

Protesters marched on the interior ministry in the centre of Athens as a 24-hour strike took hold.

They fear up to 10,000 workers could lose their jobs as their contracts end.

Apparently the prosecutors office on Kef is issuing warnings about 'Blue Whale', an alleged teen suicide cult. While there's been some sensationalised reports in some of the UK press the existence of 'Blue Whale' is unproven according to Snopes.

Pricey or what?! Not surprised that they don't get let for Agia Varvara in Katelios some/most years.

Jamie Leek holiday death: Boy's family 'feel cheated'

The family of a nine-year-old British boy who died after being hit by a motorcyclist in Greece five years ago are "mortified" that the driver will not be jailed.

Jamie Leek of Clifton, Nottingham died in Zante in June 2012 when he was hit by motorcyclist Spiridon Koklas.

A Greek appeal court has upheld his sentence of four years and 10 months but suspended it for three years.

Superstitious villagers have been living in fear since a sheep gave birth to this creature that was said by elders to be half-human half-beast and 'sent by the devil'.

Many of the 4,000 residents and farmers of Lady Frere in Eastern Province, South Africa, were convinced that bestiality and witchcraft had led to the birth of the creature.

The panic got so great that the Eastern Cape Department of Rural Development sent out experts to carry out tests after pictures of it spread like wildfire through the community.

Beware: easy to see from pics in link how this could spread rumour and fear
