Man dangling from 290ft chimney "could still be alive", police say

A man dangling from a 290ft chimney in Carlisle "could still be alive", says Cumbria Police.

The man was spotted at the top of Dixon's Chimney at 2:30am. Police have sealed off all the surrounding streets. A huge rescue operation is underway to try and save him.
