Police in Sami yesterday arrested a 38 y-o Greek national for drug trafficking and illegal firearms possession. Also yesterday, Argostoli police arrested a 53 y-o Greek national for illegal firearms possession and alteration and making ammunition (e.g. shotgun cartridges) with intent to supply.

Capital gains tax on property transactions set for another postponement

The introduction of the capital gains tax in property sales is to be postponed for another year, as the Finance Ministry is preparing an amendment that will likely extend its suspension from end-2016 to end-2017.

The tax, voted into law in 2013, ran into a series of problems and has been repeatedly suspended.

Bletchley Park: 'Codebreakers school' planned for site

Bletchley Park, the site of secret code-deciphering projects during World War Two, could become the centre for a new generation of codemakers and codebreakers.

There are plans for a training college to teach cybersecurity skills to 16-19 year olds at the Buckinghamshire site.

Former home secretary Lord Reid said it had become vital to build up the "talent pool" for cyber-defence.

The college, in a wartime building at Bletchley, is intended to open in 2018.

Developed by a not-for-profit group from the cybersecurity industry, it would open as a boarding college, with around 10% of places for day students.

The National College of Cybersecurity would be free to all students, who would be selected as "gifted and talented".

Interesting idea but looks a bit limited at present

Er... that is in limited as in offers to delete you from sites you signed up to with gmail only.  I tried it - I hardly use my gmail account - but it immediately showed I'd signed up to Google and Swiftkey.  Actually I use an address linked to a domain name I own so it will never work for me (presumably) but could be very useful for some.
