Italian Prime Minister's new €1million a month jet 'grounded because no one is qualified to fly it'

The informant also claimed that the airport traditionally used for departures and arrivals from state visits, Rome Ciampino, has runways too narrow for the new plane’s wingspan.

The Greek government has changed plans in its quest for the return of the Parthenon Marbles after the country’s culture minister said on Tuesday, that a diplomatic campaign would be launched instead to negotiate with the British Museum.

Culture Minister Aristides Baltas said the government would no longer need the services of the high-profile legal team headed by Amal Alamuddin.

The Independent newspaper's blogging platform has been briefly compromised with malware that infects readers' computers, security experts have said.

The malware exploits a security hole in Adobe Flash Player to install itself on a victim's computer.

Once downloaded, it sets about encrypting documents, rendering them useless without the key to decrypt them, for which it demands a ransom.

The vulnerability in Flash has since been patched, but anybody using an old version of the web browser plug-in could still be at risk.

"My advice is to update your Flash Player. Always do it immediately when it says an update is available, because Flash remains one of the main ways attackers can compromise a system."

This so-called malvertising has been found on many other places. Other newspapers as well as streaming sites and porn hosts have all briefly hosted booby-trapped ads.

Microsoft ends support for .Net Framework 4, 4.5 and 4.5.1

Microsoft announced earlier this year that it would end support for the Microsoft .Net Framework 4, 4.5 and 4.5.1 on January 12, 2016. End of support means that these .Net versions won't receive security updates, technical support or hotfixes anymore.

...end users need to ensure that a supported version of the .Net Framework is installed on devices they manage or use. In most cases, this means updating the .Net Framework 4.x to version 4.5.2, 4.6 or 4.6.1.

Although......consider cost savings to; legal aid and solicitor visits, staffing visiting rights, police follow-up interviews, etc

I wouldn't dismiss it out of hand.
