How to get everything on Netflix: Secret codes allow access to complete library and genres
Usually the site will only let you see genres that it thinks you’ll like most — but there are tens of thousands of them, just hidden behind codes

There are tens of thousands of secret codes that will give users full access to everything on Netflix.

The site usually requires users either to search for an exact title, or to flick through a few limited genres that the site’s technology has guessed they might like. But new websites show that there are codes that can give access to the full list of all of those genres, allowing people to choose from the various, very specific categories that the site offers.

Each of Netflix’s genre pages exist at a specific idea. If you want... spectacular films for young children, for instance, you can head to http://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/2851 — and those final four digits can be swapped for different IDs if you are looking for something else.

To find the specific pages, you can flick through the unofficial sites that exist online. One site called Ogres Crypt hosts a list of films by genre and sub-genre, as well as a more extended one, and a Google spreadsheet lists them in ascending order by their ID code.

Not sure it will allow access to everything on Netflix but might be worth a try, if you're a Netflix user. The Google spreadsheet mentioned above doesn't seem to exist (any longer), but there's a long list of Netflix genres on ogres-crypt.com

Just in case anyone on GGi is still using Windows 8 (not 8.1), there's a bit of confusing info from MS:

Quote
Windows 8.1 falls under the same lifecycle policy as Windows 8, and will reach end of Mainstream Support on January 9, 2018, and end of Extended Support on January 10, 2023. With the General Availability of Windows 8.1, customers on Windows 8 have... until January 12, 2016, to move to Windows 8.1 in order to remain supported.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/gp/lifecycle-windows81-faq

So it looks as though security updates, etc, will cease for Windows 8 w.e.f. 12/01/16.
