'I'm not Greek anymore, I'm English': EU expats' post-Brexit fears
A Greek restaurant manager tells Sky News that he loves his life in Britain and can never imagine returning to his homeland.

People dancing in the streets while smashing plates may not be what you'd expect at lunchtime in Birmingham city centre but that is what happens outside the Greek restaurant Santorini.

The staff are as proud of their country's culture as the cuisine and they're keen to give their customers a true taste of Greece.

But as much as they want their customers to enjoy Greek culture, the staff we spoke to love their lives in Britain. Many told us they fear their futures are now in doubt post-Brexit.

British Airways faces £290,000 bill after running out of toilet roll

A British Airways plane destined to take holidaymakers to the Caribbean was sat on the tarmac at Gatwick for more than five hours because there was a shortage of loo roll.

Passengers on BA flight 2153 to Barbados were delayed because their aircraft had not been prepared satisfactorily, forcing the airline to assemble a new ground crew to restock the likes of toilet paper and headphones.

Seems netting is being rolled down the hillside on the bends between Ag. Yergios and Ag. Eirini, Poros area. Idea is to reduce erosion and landslip onto the road.

Re the 1st item "I'm not Greek anymore" just read this in my local North London paper
"A Tory councillor is calling for the EU flag to be removed from outside Enfield's civic centre following the vote to leave the EU, Mr. Alessandro Georgiou also wants to begin each full council meeting with councillors singing the National Anthem"

By the way my local takeaway is Marina the Greek, previously called Greekylicious, and we have a good bouzouki club locally called Ephestio. It's a home away from Kef.  :btu:

Lucky you being in a hellenophile home from home! Presumably K. Georgiou want councillors to sing the Hymn to Freedom!  ;)

Have to say it is nice Tony, though mostly Cypriot rather than "Greek" Greek. Not that you would have noticed in 2004 when Greece won the UEFA cup, absolutely fantastic with speakers dragged out of restaurants & function rooms and dancing etc in the street, think the local police just gave up and let everyone celebrate. All done in good humour and fun and no bad behaviour.
