Greece Seeks German Know-How to Tackle Tax Evasion

Greece has turned to a German state government to seek help in combating tax evasion.

Greek tax officials, initially numbering about 50, will be trained by the tax authorities of North Rhine-Westphalia, a state noted for its success in persuading German citizens to repatriate capital they had whisked abroad to avoid taxation.

If Greek authorities request it, German tax inspectors will visit Greece to investigate cases.

The same here in central Argostoli. There was one strong lightening which must have hit and the electricity went off.

A-ha! Didn't notice any lightning here, but that would probably explain the power cut. At least it was fixed fairly quickly.

Tim Curry has signed on for Fox's Rocky Horror Picture Show reboot

In honor of The Rocky Horror Picture Show's 40th anniversary, Fox has been planning an elaborate televised remake of the cultiest cult classic of all time.

Curry has just signed on to appear as the Criminologist Narrator, a small, wryly written part that serves to call attention to the manic kitschiness of the rest of the film. This will be 69-year-old Curry's first live-action appearance following a stroke that placed him in a wheelchair in 2012.
