Food is 5 pct more expensive in Greece than the EU average

Food prices in Greece are above the European Union average, while the country is the most expensive among the EU-28 in telecommunications, including internet connections and telecom equipment.

This is according to 2018 data published by Eurostat, which illustrate that disposable incomes in Greece have dropped in the decade of the crisis – often due to the various taxes and levies imposed – while the prices of goods and services have remained high.

Cashless Monopoly: Is this the final nail in the coffin for physical money?
The board game is launching a digital edition, introducing kids to a cashless society. But it may be jumping the gun …

For many children, the board game Monopoly is their introduction to capitalism, slum landlords and what to do with wedges of banknotes. While the first two may still prove grimly relevant to their lives, a whole generation of children may grow up wondering what cash is. Hasbro, which makes Monopoly, is bringing out a cashless version with a digital “voice banking” edition, which keeps track of players’ transactions – no banker, no thrilling piles of banknotes.

We are moving towards a cashless society.

Not quite sure what happened here but yesterday morning coast guard retrieved a man from the sea between Poros and Skala. So far as I can make out he was rescued alive.

All completely wrong but looks like the family didn't check-in online.  Not sure it's compulsory but EasyJet do everything they can to persuade you and it's very easy with their app if you have a mobile.  There's a lesson there somewhere.
