British blogger arrested for 'breaching sexual decency' at Greece tourist spot
Travel blogger Adebola Sowemimo was screamed at and accused of flashing her body - claims she says are completely untrue

Greek authorities pushed a British woman out of a museum for 'breaching sexual decency' by flashing her body before arresting her at the Acropolis in Athens for flashing her body.

But she says it was a clear example of ' racism at its finest' and the accusations are completely fabricated.

Crufts under pressure to admit new ‘Retro Pug’ with un-squashed face as campaigners say cruel overbreeding must stop

Crufts is under pressure to break with tradition and allow “Retro Pugs” with un-squashed faces to compete in their famous showring, as campaigners say it would help end the “extreme suffering” of purebred dogs.

Pugs can struggle to breath due to their flat faces and narrow nostrils, and campaigners say that Retro Pugs, which are a mix between Jack Russell Terriers and Pugs and have longer faces, are a less cruel alternative.

In the late nineteenth century, all pugs looked like the Retro Pug and campaigners say the squashed face now considered a defining feature of the breed is the result of aggressive breeding.

My brush with Lyme disease: how tick bites turned family day out to disaster

When I got it, I was shocked to find how easily it could be transmitted, how unreliable testing for it was, and how awful the consequences were for those who didn’t get the right diagnosis in time.

You can’t become immune to Lyme – a lesson that leading media analyst Claire Enders learned first-hand. She has had Lyme twice, with the second bout going undiagnosed for a year as her test results gave a false negative.

Enders was unable to walk and suffered nerve damage, but is thankfully better after an 18-month cycle of antibiotics and hydrotherapy.

Specialists say milder winters have increased the tick population, as fewer are being killed off by freezing weather.

Vaccination or better testing could help stop cases such as that of the former England rugby player Matt Dawson, whose misdiagnosis of Lyme led to him needing heart surgery.
