*Allegedly* a cocoon found in a bunch of bananas - rather put the family off their bananas and there were, er, Nuneaton.

Aldi said the claim is unsubstantiated.

Not the first claim of this sort in the UK... bananas are also imported into Greece...

An Aldi spokesman said: “Following independent expert analysis, we can confirm that the eggs in question were totally harmless and not from the Brazilian Wandering Spider."
