Unconfirmed but heard some twenty nine migrants have been discovered on Megas Lakos beach (part of Xi beach), said to be fourteen men, five women and ten kids, one with a disability. Taken to Argostoli for processing before being sent to Athens.
Seems officers from Paliki police division and Coast Guard officers arrested two people smugglers, one a Moldovan national and the other a Ukranian, on Saturday. Detained and awaiting trial.
