The Agios Gerasimos was briefly detained in Argostoli yesterday by coast guard after the captain reported damage to the ramp's hydraulic system. Once the system was repaired and certified the boat was allowed to continue the Argostoli - Lixouri crossings.

A busy summer so far for Ithaki coast guard, yesterday evening transferring from PisoAetos to Sami two locals, one aged 91 and the other 45, in need of urgent medical attention.
