Boris Johnson will not be interviewed by Met Police over 'partygate', ITV News understandsI understand the Prime Minister will not be interviewed by the Met Police in their investigation of the Downing Street parties.Paradoxically, this means he is more likely to be fined, I am told. The point is, the Met are not interviewing those who received questionnaires and are in the frame to be fined. The PM received a questionnaire in February. The only officials being interviewed are “witnesses”. Their role is to help the police interpret the questionnaire answers they’ve received from others. They have also been helping to confirm which events were in fact illegal parties and who should be fined.

eCall SOSThe safety feature that gets you help quicker and fasterSince April 2018, most cars and vans have been fitted with an emergency call system, known as eCall. This built-in safety feature is automatically activated in the event of an incident when the airbags are deployed. This can also be manually activated by the driver or passenger by pressing a button – this button is known as eCall SOS.The following video explains the benefits of eCall and the key information that drivers and passengers need to know. You do not need to be carrying a mobile phone for this vehicle built-in safety feature to work. eCall should only be used if the situation requires the emergency services. When activated, eCall contacts a 999 operator and provides your vehicle’s exact location directly to emergency services. This means help arrives more quickly. The eCall SOS button can be found in the ceiling console by the internal rear-view mirror, behind a pop-out hatch or on the centre console. Please refer to your vehicle manual, your car manufacturer or authorised dealership.

Stamp price rises: First class postage is now 95pThe price of a first class stamp has risen by 10p to 95p as Royal Mail seeks to cover higher delivery costs while the number of letters being sent falls.Second class stamps have also increased by 2p to 68p.Royal Mail said it was having to deliver to a growing number of addresses, which was adding to costs. But some people criticised the move at a time when the cost of living is increasing and the firm's profits have jumped. The price of first and second class stamps have more than doubled since 2010, when they cost 41p and 32p respectively. Greece: Scuffles break out child-killer suspect arraigned A 33-year-old woman accused of killing her hospitalized daughter was led under heavy police guard to an Athens court for an arraignment on Monday as authorities investigate the deaths of her two other daughters. In a case that has gripped public attention in Greece, the suspect was arrested last week after an anesthetic drug was found in tissue samples of her 9-year-old who died in January following a lengthy stay in hospital.A panel of senior coroners is also leading a review into the deaths of the suspect’s two other children: a 3-year-old girl from liver failure in 2019 and a 6-month-old girl in 2021 from a suspected heart defect.Riot police scuffled with onlookers and journalists at a court complex in the Greek capital as they cleared the way to lead the suspect into the office of a public prosecutor to present her defense. Some of the protesters ‒ some also awaiting trial for separate offenses ‒ chanted "death, death″ as they tried to break through the police cordon.
