Not sure what purchases this applies to but heard that, in tourist areas, transactions of 70€ or over will have to be by credit/debit card.
The central cooperation union of wine products released a report on Wednesday stating that Wine production dropped by 16.24% in 2014-2015.The report states that viniculture was adversely affected by weather conditions that prevailed in spring and summer last year.

Looks like uniquekefalonia have been, er.... generous with the hospitality and got a plug in the Mirror - Kefalonia is small but perfectly formed for a relaxed holiday in the sunshine - and the Mail - Homage to Kefalonia: Captain Corelli's island has beauty, peace and a friendly cat called Arthur... what more could you ask for?I didn't spend a lot of time reading either but the Mail review didn't look too bad. If anyone's looking for a friendly cat please drop me a pm asap, you can call the cat whatever you want.
Just 3,500 people live here – everyone waves at each other like long-lost friends as you drive around. It feels a lot more like authentic Greece and less of a resort solely for tourists.
