'Shocking' sugar levels in High Street hot drinks, warns charity

The recommended maximum intake of added sugar per day for those aged 11 and over is about 30g or seven teaspoons, the NHS says.

Starbucks' venti Grape with Chai, Orange and Cinnamon Hot Mulled Fruit was found to have the highest sugar content of the drinks tested, with 25 teaspoons of sugar per serving, the campaign group said.

What next? "we visited a Cafe, and found a sugar bowl containing 27 spoons of sugar"

We now have bread that tastes more like cake because the salt's been taken out.
Soft drinks full of carcinogenic sweetener instead of sugar
Baked beans with neither salt or sugar
Crisps that taste like eating cardboard

All to protect us, of course.

Can't see it myself, I don't think Turkey would want to provoke the EU any further, or Russia. JMO but I reckon the skirmishes are unofficial training exerices for both sides.

Seems a load of donkey do if you ask me.  Turkey and Russia, possibly.  Turkey and Greece definitely no.  Looks like it's Pravda in cold war mode trying to divert attention from what Russia is getting up to itself.
