Gosh, yes, if the play's any good and tours nationwide... but does Kef need any more tourism? Maybe May and September/October. I read that somewhere in Greece AirBnB -type bookings had reduced the amount of property available for residential rental, so that'll probably push rental prices up.

High Rents Force Mykonos’ Businesses to Shut Down (video)

The high prices owners demand from businessmen to pay for rent at Mykonos‘ highstreet of Matogianni, has led many businesses to shut down.

Residents of the popular Greek island say that some owners ask for outrageously high prices, which include, apart from the rent, a huge amount of money just to secure the deal.

For example, the average monthly rent in Matogianni was €5,000 last year, with the extra amount of money needed to be paid upfront reaching the figure of €300,000.

Reform or you lose €750m, Greece told

The European Commission has told Greece it has until the end of the month to complete a rash of reforms or else risk losing €750 million in funds vital for the country’s fiscal recovery.

The warning has set the government in Athens scrambling to deliver on 16 commitments it has vowed to complete since it emerged from eight years of austerity in August.

Lanthimos' 'The Favourite' earns 7 BAFTA Awards

Yorgos Lanthimos' tragicomic royal drama "The Favourite" and Mexican family memoir "Roma" split the honors with multiple wins each at Sunday's British Academy Film Awards — victories that suggest a wind of change may be blowing through the movie industry.

"The Favourite" won seven trophies including best British film and best actress for OIivia Colman, who plays Britain's 18th century Queen Anne in the female-centric drama.

Saudi Arabia: Six-year-old boy dragged from taxi & beheaded in front of his screaming mother!
The mother was asked if she was Shia moments before attack

The first pictures have emerged of a six-year-old boy who was beheaded with a shard of glass in front of his screaming mother in Saudi Arabia.

Zakaria Al-Jaber was in a taxi with his mother, on their way to the shrine of the Prophet Muhammad in Medina, when a car drove up and the boy was dragged out.

The taxi driver reportedly dragged the boy towards a coffee shop in the Al-Tilal area before smashing a glass bottle and slitting his throat.

3093 passengers passed through Kefalonia airport in January, 2019, compared to 1893 passengers in January, 2018. An increase of 63.4%. All but six were domestic/internal passengers, six were international arrivals.
