Today’s bank rates:
1 €UR = £0.8878 GBP
1 €UR = $1.0940 USD
£1 GBP = 1.1264 €UR
$1 USD = 0.9141 €UR

Based on Alpha Bank exchange rates, these are widely used by exchange agencies in Greece.
Other banks likely to offer a different rate which may be marginally higher or lower.
Banks and foreign exchange offices normally charge standard 2% commission.
You may get a better rate changing your holiday money in advance at e.g the
Post Office.
NB: some f-ex agencies advertise "No Commission".
Invariably, they deduct commission before they (don't) advertise the rate.
Foreign exchange offices are businesses, not charities.

CAA raises ‘significant concerns’ over Wizz Air for failing to pay money owed to customers
The Hungarian airline has failed to pay a large number of County Court Judgements made against it

Some 811 grievances per million Wizz Air passengers on UK flights were brought to independent bodies between July and September. That is far higher than easyJet (245), Ryanair (235) and British Airways (166).

Analysis by the PA news agency published in August also found that it was the worst airline for flight delays from UK airports last year.

BACCHANALIA: The Most Expensive Restaurant In The World Is Greek!

BACCHANALIA is located in London, its construction cost 75 million British pounds, it is housed in the old Porsche garage, its statues are 2,000 years old, the works of art were created by Damien Hirst and its dishes are signed by a Greek chef.

BACCHANALIA, which opened its doors to the public only a few weeks ago, is located in Mayfair and is the Greco-Roman inspired restaurant is the most expensive in the world. Both its interior decoration and set up are equal to Buckingham and Versailles Palaces.

This is without a doubt a legendary dining area that strictly adheres to British protocol and proves that despite the 400 pounds required per person for a meal, the person concerned has to wait up to 2 months to find a table. Again: Only if he is lucky will he find!

Europe’s Largest Shipbuilder to Produce Warships in Greece

The largest shipbuilder in Europe, Italian Fincantieri, and Greek Elefsis Shipyards, owned by Onex, have signed a memorandum for the production and maintenance of two corvettes, with an option for a third.

It provides for the construction of the state-of-the-art warships at the facilities of Elefsis Shipyards in Attica, Greece.

The shipbuilding of the three corvettes, together with the necessary upgrades, improvements, know-how and transfer of technology and equipment, is estimated at 80 million euros, the Ministry of Development and Investment said in a statement.

The project is estimated to open 2,500 new job openings in the shipbuilding sector.
