Today’s bank rates:

1 €UR = $ 1.1179 USD   $1 USD = 0.8975 €UR
1 €UR = $ 1.7023 AUD   $1 AUD = 0.5874 €UR

Based on National Bank of Greece exchange rates.
Other banks likely to offer rates which may be marginally higher or lower.
Banks and foreign exchange offices normally charge standard 2% commission.
You may get a better rate changing your holiday money in advance at e.g. the
Post Office.
NB: some f-ex agencies advertise "No Commission".
Invariably, they deduct commission before they (don't) advertise the rate.
Foreign exchange offices are businesses, not charities.

I was thinking it's difficult to say who's telling porkies regarding the Post Office and the government 'limping into the elections', Kemi Badenoch or Henry Staunton. However, it seems as though Ms Badenoch's grasp on the truth is about on a par with Bojo or Cummings:

Badenoch’s casual relationship with the truth gets thrust into the limelight
The business secretary found herself publicly questioned over a number of matters that could be deemed to be seriously misleading.

The business secretary has landed in hot water over comments she made last year when she insisted she had engaged ‘extensively’ with LGBT organisations since her appointment as equalities minister 18 months ago.

A freedom-of-information answer published this week reveals that in fact the minister hasn’t met a single LGBT organisation, but has met two fringe groups that actively campaign against transgender rights.

And then there's this whopper:

Canada contradicts Kemi Badenoch's claim post-Brexit trade talks are 'ongoing'

Kemi Badenoch is embroiled in another political row after Canada refuted her claim she was engaging with them on trade talks.

The country's high commissioner to the UK, Ralph Goodale, has told MPs that no discussions of any kind are happening.
