Haven't seen this reported anywhere else but, if correct, could possibly affect flights to/from Kef:

French ATC strike threatens major disruption

Thousands of flights are set to be cancelled or delayed this week due to strike action by French Air Traffic Control.

A strike scheduled for tomorrow and Wednesday has been called off, but British Airways said controllers were still planning to walk out for 48 hours on Thursday.

If it's any help to anyone coming out soon when I returned home on Fri 26,once we had boarded the captain informed us delays where possible due to French air traffic disruption. After collective groans he then said that operations (easyjet) where trying to work on a reroute. This was confirmed and away we went only 15 mins late which was made up on the more northerly route and actually landed on time back at Manchester ! So by all means keep in touch with your carrier as maybe our little neck of the woods can be got to more indirectly than we think !

To anyone coming out to Greece in the near future: might be an idea to bring euros. Due to the banks being closed, head office can't, it seems, get access to money to fulfil the exchange needs, hence we're limiting exchange to £60 maximum. In Skala office we're interpreting this as per person so a couple wanting to exchange £100 simply do £50 per person. No idea what other companies are doing but some could, *possibly*, run out of euros to exchange.

Other than that, everything seems to be functioning as normal, no queues at the ATM opposite, which seems to be working OK, and electronic transactions OK.

Greece threatens top court action to block Grexit
Exclusive: European leaders warn in concert that a 'No' vote on Sunday means Greece will be pushed out of the euro

Greece has threatened to seek a court injunction against the EU institutions, both to block the country's expulsion from the euro and to halt asphyxiation of the banking system.

Any request for an injunction against EU bodies at the European Court would be an unprecedented development, further complicating the crisis.

Greek officials said they are seriously considering suing the European Central Bank itself for freezing emergency liquidity for the Greek banks at €89bn. It turned down a request from Athens for a €6bn increase to keep pace with deposit flight.

This effectively pulls the plug on the Greek banking system. Syriza claims that this is a prima facie breach of the ECB’s legal duty to maintain financial stability. “How can they justify setting off a run on the Greek banking system?” said one official.
