Is the ‘Croydon cat killer’ a fox – or a human still at large?
A hundred days after the Met closed its investigation, suspicions that someone is targeting the animals remain

Police officers, vets and an animal rescue organisation believe that the killing and mutilation of some cats, rabbits and other animals across parts of England are the result of human involvement, even though a major police investigation has found no evidence to support that claim.

There was a video doing the rounds online, of a fox being chased by a cat. Seems that a cat will stand up for itself. Here is one from Youtube.

Not sure I've made sense of this but heard the Ionian Islands regional Council is proposing to build an 'Open Theatre' in Razata with a budget of 2,600,00 euros. Once completed the theatre will host (among other things?) a children's choir festival, first at a regional and then at Greek-Italian national level, with a budget of 700,000 euros.

Haven't got all the details but gather there's an event on 26th January in the Campana Plateia (Bell Tower Square), possibly concerned with ecological issues as the Kefalonia Citizens' Movement look likeley to be there arguing against oil exploration in the sea off Kef.

Yeah, I thought it was a bit incongruous splashed across a picture of an English country garden. or even a British suburban garden. What's the world coming to when we have invasive foreign abbreviations killing off good old English sayings such as E bah gum or Bye 'eck!?
