Greece passes law to end adoption red tape

Greece approved legislation on Wednesday speeding up child adoption and allowing same-sex couples to become guardians of orphans, cutting a morass of bureaucracy where candidate parents and thousands of children are trapped waiting for years.

There is an average six-year waiting time for prospective parents to go through the adoption process, a key deterrent for thousands of people.

The new process limits waiting time to 8-12 months, although many cases will be subject to court approval.

No concessionary sunbeds at either Agia Barbara or Katelios so far - just those from a couple of the Tavernas

Captain Jerry's new mast & rigging is impressive - keep expecting to see him standing high in the rigging, windswept, one hand to the mast, the other shielding his eyes - scanning for likely victims punters

Not sure if they've been to auction, although I suspect they have.
Maybe it's just to early to make it worthwhile setting them up yet

most years don't they have the auctions around middle of June, or something (seemingy) daft like that?
Maybe they've got their act together this year
