Puppy and kitten sales at pet shops set to be banned

Pet shops and dealers in England will be banned from selling puppies and kittens under government plans.

The proposals, which have gone out to consultation, will mean those wanting to buy or adopt a pet less than six months old will have to go to the breeder or a rescue centre.

A ban on licensed sellers dealing in dogs and cats less than eight weeks old is already coming in on 1 October.

Campaigners welcomed the announcement, but warned of "potential loopholes".

Can sweet hummus really take on chocolate spread?
Sweet chickpea dips could offer a healthy alternative to jams and nut butters, with brands such as Hou introducing us to hummus in flavours including mixed berry and banoffee

(£3.50 for a 180g pot)

 :hmm: Chocolate houmous...  :oki:

£2 at the corner shop gets me a 100g bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk and a 170g tub of Delphi houmous - tastes like houmous

Google Chrome's private incognito mode leaks way more personal data than you might think
The privacy feature in the Chrome web browser claims to let people 'browse privately'

Google could continue to collect personal data from users, even if they use the incognito mode in the Chrome web browser, a study has found.

A researcher from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, discovered that Google could retroactively link a person's private browsing to the usernames and account information they use online.

Really can't imagine what you're thinking of  :hmm:

Well, yes, I can. I've seen the video clip of young women in bikinis on sunbeds when a 'quake occurred  ;)

Shaken, not stirred.

Midday today Ithaki coast guard imposed sanctions on the Spirit sailing vessel as it appeared to have been chartered (presumably legally) and then sub-let for the period 06/08/2018 - 03/09/2018.
