Chance of being bitten by mosquito is written in genes
Some people are just more likely to be attacked no matter how much insect repellent they slap on, the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine has found

UEFA and FIFA say they have sent a final warning to Greece that they face suspension from international football for government interference.

The Greek government wants to pass laws punishing violence at sports events, including imposing fines and threatening to cancel matches.

Football's governing bodies have strict rules protecting their member federations' independence to run their own affairs.

AN inquest into the deaths of two children from Wakefield who died while on holiday in Corfu is to be reopened.

Christi Shepherd and her brother Bobby... died in 2006 from fumes from a faulty boiler at their hotel on the Greek island.

After a post-mortem examination was carried out it was discovered that Christi and Bobby had died from carbon monoxide poisoning which had allegedly been caused by a faulty gas boiler in an outhouse next to their bungalow.

Lawyers for the family say lengthy legal proceedings took place in Corfu but the adequacy of the health and safety systems that Thomas Cook put in place were not examined.

Unconfirmed but heard that fixed-term contracts for a number of employers have expired and can't be renewed for financial reasons at the Seismology department of the the Institute of Geodynamics at the National Observatory of Athens.

It’s about to get awfully crowded in Sherwood Forest. The enduring appeal of Robin Hood will be thoroughly tested with four Hollywood studios announcing rival versions of the classic outlaw’s tale.

Warner Bros, Sony, Disney and Lionsgate have all given the green light to major Robin Hood productions.

Might apply for jobs as extras though hubby says the pointed shoes and green tights don't do much for him. However the big "corporation and the bald head would make him an excellent candidate for Friar Tuck. Don't think there is a suitable role for Two Ton Marion???Better stick to making tea and sandwiches!!! :

After the Kevin Costner version we never know how far the story will be stretched. I just hope one of them has Alan Rickman as the Sheriff.

Amazon Travel Launches New Brand, Amazon Destinations

You won’t see any flight options as Amazon Destinations emphasizes drive destinations and weekend getaways.

Amazon Destinations is something short of TripAdvisor’s 200 million reviews and opinions at this point, but Amazon Destinations is beginning to collect user reviews for each property. The hotels will include independent properties, regional groups, chains, and B&Bs etc.
http://skift.com/2015/04/21/amazon-launches-new-hotel-service-and-brand-amazon-destinations/

Only limited destinations in the States at the moment, could be it aims to take a big slice from Trip Advisor, Booking.com, Expedia, etc in the future.

Heard the site of the Roman villa at Agia Efimia has had a good tidy up for the new season.

Looks like a pitifully thin covering over the shop's basement - not surprised it gave way.  Apparently the woman ignored a makeshift barrier of chairs and tables.
