Brazil’s valley of beauties appeals for single men

It sounds like a tale from Greek mythology: a small rural town hidden in the rolling hills, populated by beautiful women who are looking for love.

But this is the reality for the ladies of Noiva do Cordeiro, deep in the countryside of south-east Brazil.

In the picturesque 600-strong community, where men are scarce, or work far away in the city, the women are left to shoulder the town’s burdens alone. The situation has led some of the women, who are known throughout Brazil for their beauty, to put out an appeal for single men.

On the other hand, if you live permanently in a country and pay taxes there you might think you should have some democratic and human rights.

Using the project title of Unofficial Service Pack 4, Greece-based developer harkaz started work in September 2013 on bringing together all the official updates from Microsoft in a single package.

According to harkaz, Windows XP Unofficial SP4 is a cumulative update rollup for Windows XP x86.

I'm sure SP4 is a bit of a misnomer. Anyone running XP SP3 should be safe if they have AV software that still supports XP SP3.

I'm not intending ditching our two 8 year old XP PC's, but I have taken the precaution of buying an external drive to back-up everything.

Won't argue with you, Phil, but the thing that always puzzles me... people who get infected, they don't have an AV?
